  1. Hi Louise,

I just read a short piece you had written on health anxiety and I wanted to thank you for sharing and for normalising a condition that I’ve suffered over the years.

Health anxiety has taken me literally to breaking point, to a deep and lonely despair at times.

I normally have cycles where I’m free from worry for months or even years at a time but when it takes me down I do go down hard and I’m mid cycle at the moment, this time with a brain tumour, previously pancreatic cancer, lymphoma, motor neurone disease and all the nasty stuff!

I’ve never reached out before but I read your article and it gave me some relief to know that I’m not the only one out there.

    Thanks again

    1. Hi Andy, I know it is literally almost a year later but thank you for reaching out. Realising that I have managed to capture an experience for someone else is the reason I love to write. I hope you are well
